Kenneth Dickey

Kenneth L. Dickey age 66 of York, NE died Tuesday, April 04, 2006 at York. He was born November 4, 1939 at York NE to Leroy and Velma (Hanna) Dickey and was a graduate of Gresham High School. He was married to Carol Dey on March 6, 1966 at Gresham. Kenneth was a self-employed carpenter and worked in the York area for many years. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his former wife Carol; son Randy and his wife Brigitte Dickey of Grand Island; daughter Brenda and her husband Joe Belfiore of York; grandchildren, Keisha and Logan Dickey of Grand Island and Nicole and Jessica Belfiore of York; brothers, Lyle Dickey and Don Dickey both of Lincoln and Norman and his wife Eilene Dickey of York; sister, Betty and her husband Ron Davidson of Columbus. sister in law Margie Dickey of York. Many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim, sister Carolyn Tulis and a grandson Kenneth.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Metz Chapel in York. Interment will be in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery at Gresham. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with the family greeting friends and neighbors from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday. Memorials may be directed to the family.
