Jerry DeCamp

Jerry Lynn DeCamp age 76 of Fullerton, NE died Friday March 14, 2008 at Fullerton. He was born October 2, 1931 at York to William H and Alice L (Voss) DeCamp and graduated from York High School in 1950. Jerry was a longtime musician having played piano and guitar in several area bands including his brother’s Bill DeCamp’s Band.

He is survived by two sisters: Janice and her husband Charles Thomas and Jeanne M Wood all of Lakewood, CO. Also surviving is a sister in law Vivian DeCamp of Minden, NE and many nieces and nephews and a cousin Duane Epp of Beatrice, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Billy and his sister Nancy.

Graveside services were held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Greenwood Cemetery in York followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Metz Chapel also in York with the Reverend Terry Cosier officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Beverly Park Place for Mental Health in Grand Island.
