Kim Curry

Kim M. Curry age 52 of Waco, NE died Monday, July 7, 2008 at York. She was born January 5, 1956 at Windom, MN to Richard James and Sandra Marie (Lutterman) Balling. Kim had worked in York as a controller at Shelby Foods, Inc. and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the York Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband Mark of Waco; son, Travis of Lincoln; daughters, Kaye (Brad) Vculek of Ft. Riley, KS and Kristel of Waco; grandchildren, Shayla, Marcus and Gracie; sisters, Kate (Robert) Axford and Karen (Kerry) Roediger all of Windom, MN; brother, Richard (Connie) Balling of Mercedes, TX; mother-in-law, Doris Curry of Windom; brothers-in-law, Mathew and Mitchell Curry of Windom; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents Richard & Sandi Balling; sister Kelly Showalter; father-in-law Richard Curry and niece Amy Marie Axford.

A Mass of Christian burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in York with Father Saravimuthu Jesuraj officiating. Inurnment will take place in St Joseph’s Cemetery at York at a later date. It was Kim’s wish to be cremated so there was no viewing of her body. Memorials may be directed to her family for later designation.
