Vera Crane

Vera M. Crane, age 63 of York, died Friday, January 6, 2006 at her home in York. She was born March 29, 1942 in Tekamah, NE to Leslie J. and Florence M. (Tuttle) Prusia. Vera was married to Victor E. Crane at Fremont, NE on June 4, 1983 and they made their home in York. Vera was an active member of the First Christian Church where she was a Deaconess. She was also a member of the York Eagles. Survivors include her husband Victor of York; step-children, Timothy Crane of York, Dale Crane of Lincoln and Vicki (Dennis) Lankford of Hardin, MT; 9 step-grandchildren; her brother William (Patsy) Prusia of Fremont and her sister Penny (Kenny) Terhofter of Fontana, CA. Vera was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and a step-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at the First Christian Church. Burial followed at Greenwood Cemetery in York. Memorials may be directed to the family. Visitation will begin 10:00 am Monday.
