Cora Cotner

Cora I. Cotner, age 93 of York, died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at York. Cora was born August 7, 1911 at Oakes, ND to George and Clarica (Ankeny) McGregor. On November 7, 1931, she was married to Amzie Cotner at Lincoln. She has been a longtime member of the East Avenue United Methodist Church in York. Cora is survived by her two children; Virginia and her husband Ronald Richardson of Omaha and Donald and his wife Ina of Marquette; three grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; her sisters, Maxine Kopcho of Napa, ID and Verna Jean Schaldecker of York. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 3 brothers, 5 sisters and her grandson Scott Cotner.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 1:00 pm at the East Avenue United Methodist Church in York with the Rev. Jeff Wulf officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at York. Memorials may be directed to the Church. Visitation will be from noon to 9:00pm at the Mortuary with family greeting family & friends from 5-7 pm.
