Wilford “Willie” Collingham

Wilford “Willie” Collingham age 80 of York died Saturday, January 10, 2004 at York. He was born November 9, 1923 in York to Arthur E. and Myrtle T. (Summers) Collingham. H was a former truck driver working for Jacobsen’s Trucking for 3 years and then Johnny Adamson’s for 6 years at Exeter. Willie was a WW II war veteran and a member of the York American Legion Club. On April 23, 1946 he was married to JoAnne M. Umshler at Bellville, KS.

He is survived by his wife JoAnne of York. One daughter Carol Jean and her husband Larry Smith also of York. 4 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren 4 Great Great Grandchildren Also surviving are two brothers, Fred Collingham of Bradshaw and Bob (Julia) Collingham of Hastings. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM., Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at the Metz Chapel in York. Burial will be in the Plainfield Cemetery near Bradshaw. Memorials may be directed to the family. Visitation begins 10:30 Monday.
