Fred Collingham
Fred S. Collingham, age 90, of Bradshaw, NE, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at York, NE. He was born August 29, 1920 at York to Arthur and Myrtle (Summers) Collingham.
Fred was a veteran, having served in the US Army during WWII. He was married to Wanda Reisinger on July 6, 1945 at Waco, NE. Fred was a life long cement truck driver, first driving for Frank Burnham, then for Gerholtz Ready-Mix where he worked until his retirement. He was also formerly a part time maintenance man for the Village of Bradshaw as well as a longtime volunteer firefighter. An avid Husker fan he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents, wife, son Clarence, five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include four daughters; Diana and her husband Milford Mills of Glasco, KS, Teresa and her husband Dwayne Endorf of Ohiowa, NE, Waunita Slater of York and Brenda and her husband Allan Schmidt of Waco, NE. A daughter-in-law Charlotte Collingham of Topeka, KS.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 am Friday, July 1, 2011 at the Bradshaw United Methodist Church with the Reverend Mary Scott officiating. Burial was in Plainfield Cemetery west of Bradshaw. Memorials may be directed to the Bradshaw United Methodist Church or to the Bradshaw Volunteer Fire Dept.
