Ival Clark

Ival A. Clark, age 70 of York, NE, died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at York. He was born on January 6, 1938 at Blencoe, IA to Kenneth and Annetta (Scott) Clark. He was a 1956 graduate of Bronson High School, Bronson, IA. Ival worked as a meat packer at several places throughout the Midwest and at Gerber Pet Foods in York. He was a member of the Eagles Club #3990 and enjoyed fishing and watching Yankee’s baseball games.

He is survived by three sons: Roger (Jodi) Clark of Manly, MN, Jeff (Janice) Clark of Brandon, SD and Dennis (Tami) Clark also of Brandon; one daughter, Mary (Erich) Heiden of Benedict, NE; three brothers: Harold Clark of Emerson, NE, Larry (Janelle) Clark of Whiting, IA and Gary (Joyce) Clark also of Whiting; nine grandchildren: Aaron, Kala, Stephanie, Megan, Steven, Dylan, Mariah, Macy and Kyle; one great-granddaughter, Tessa. Also surviving is his special friend, Adelle Eichman of York. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Steven, brother, Ronnie, and sister-in-law, Joanne Clark.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the Metz Chapel in York with the Reverend Mike Neidow officiating. Following the funeral service, Ival will be cremated with interment at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
