Evelyn Chambers

Evelyn M. Chambers, age 94 of York, NE, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at York. She was born December 23, 1915 in Seward County, Nebraska to Roy and Hazel (Landenberger) Watson. Evelyn and Aurice “Snaz” Chambers were united in marriage on December 23, 1936 at Seward, NE. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in York and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Lansden of York as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, infant son, son-in-law Ivan Lansden and her brother, Ralph Watson.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church in York with the Reverend Mike Eickhoff officiating. Burial was in the Utica Cemetery, Utica, NE. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
