Betty Bushnell
Betty M. Bushnell age 90 of York, NE died Friday, March 21, 2008 at York.
She was born December 17, 1917 Mitchell, NE. to Paul J and Carol (Stewart) Pottorf and was an active member of the Federated Church at Mitchell, NE where she was a member of the C.C. Circle as well. Betty was a hairdresser in Mitchell for over 30 years and was also a fifty-year member of the Eastern Star Sunflower Chapter 214.
In July of 2002 Betty moved to York where she attended the First United Methodist Church.
Betty was first married to John J Ramundo at Lead, SD. Next she was married to Dale Bushnell on December 25, 1970 at Mitchell, NE.
She is survived by her daughter Toni and her husband Fred Hess of York, her stepchildren include Judy and her husband Ted Wendt of Wausau, IN and Jack and his wife Jeanette Bushnell of Flower Mound, TX.
Her grandchildren include Corey Witwer of Lincoln, NE, Gina Wagstaff of Edson Alberta, Canada.
Step-grandchildren Amy and her husband Chris Lowman of St Joseph, Michigan, Mike and his wife Linda Wendt of Huntington Beach, California, Lynnann and her husband Jesse Gabioud of Flower Mound, Texas, Sara and her husband Danny Lingamfelton of Kansas City, Missouri.
Also surviving is her great grandson Nathan Wagstaff of Edson, Alberta, Canada.
Step Great Grandchildren; Megan Lowman and Matthew Lowman both of St. Joseph, Michigan and Travis Gabioud of Flower Mound, TX.
Many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her son Bill, two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in York with the Reverend’s Art Phillips and Jeff Wulf officiating.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell, NE which was followed by a Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. at the Federated Church also in Mitchell, NE.
Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in York.
