Helen Burrier

Helen M. Burrier age 92 of York, NE died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Fairmont, NE. She was born May 29, 1916 to Joseph and Antonia (Hordlivy) Ladman at Milligan, NE. Helen was united in marriage to Alba Burrier on July 6, 1955 at David City, NE. Helen loved to play bingo and she cherished the time she spent with her family.

Helen is survived by her daughter Doris (Larry Sr.) Bowman of York, son Marvin (Wanda) Burrier of Lincoln, NE; two grandchildren, Larry Bowman Jr. of Lincoln and Scott (Vicki) Bowman of Benedict, NE; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, four brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Metz Chapel in York with the Reverend Mark Tasler officiating. Burial was in the Utica Cemetery, Utica, NE. Memorials may be directed to the family.
