Robert Buller

Robert D. Buller age 72 of York, NE died Friday, July 6, 2007 at York. He was born February 13, 1935 at Henderson NE to A.J. and Violet (Harter) Buller. He was a 1953 graduate of York High School and was united in marriage to Kathleen Rohde on March 19, 1960 at Hampton, NE. Robert served in the United States Army from 1958 until 1960. He was a hotline foreman for the Rural Electric Association in York for 36 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Robert was an avid outdoorsman and Husker fan. He enjoyed coaching baseball, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and had a special place in his heart for his hotrod and pickup.

He is survived by his wife Kathy of York; son David Buller also of York; daughter Wanda and her husband Royce Buller of Hampton, NE; grandchildren Ben Buller and his wife Stephanie of Aurora, NE, John Buller of Lincoln, NE, Eric Buller and Haley Buller of York; sister Gerry George of York and mother-in-law Norma Rohde of Hampton. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents, son Kevin, and brothers Don and Dale.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York with the Reverends Mike Neidow and Tim Marshall officiating. Burial followed in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church or the donor’s choice.
