Hollis Bragg

Hollis Bragg, age 51 of Beaver Crossing, died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Beaver Crossing. He was born February 12, 1955 at Alva, Oklahoma to Lynn and Amelia (Weibe) Bragg. On May 13, 1978 he was united in marriage to Katherine L. McBride at Gresham, NE. Hollis worked as a Geodetic Survey Technician for the State of Nebraska for over 20 years. He was a member of the Army National Guard, President of the Metal Detecting Club in Lincoln, and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by two daughters: Janell and her husband Mike Worm of Dewitt, NE, Lynnsey and her husband Ben Miller of Gresham; three grandchildren, Haylee and Kalob Worm of Dewitt, and Cooper Miller of Gresham. Also surviving are two sisters, Chris (Bruce) Smith of Dacoma, OK, Esther (Bruce) Drake of Galveston, TX; one brother David Bragg of Tulsa, OK; two aunts: Jean (Kenneth) Hamilton of Gresham, and Margie (Harvey) Bice of Kansas; one uncle, George Weibe of St. Louis, MO; two brothers-in-law: Rick McBride of Council Bluffs, IA, and Dan (Hali) McBride of Waco, NE; two sisters-in-law: Candy (Art) Rohweder of Beaver Crossing and Penny (Gale) Watson of Utica, NE; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Katherine. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 24, 2006 at Metz Chapel in York with the Reverend Dick Woolard officiating. Burial was at the Utica Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
