Gladson Bowman
Gladson L. “Bus” Bowman age 85 of Bradshaw, NE died Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Central City, NE.
He was born October 5, 1925 at York, Nebraska to Alverdo and Hannah (Webster) Bowman and graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1944. Bus was a longtime employee of Champion Home Builders working in the maintenance department.
A World War II veteran he was a member of Arbor Drive Community Church in York and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed woodworking, golfing and playing cards. After his retirement he helped the Luethje Brothers’ farm around the Bradshaw area.
On August 14, 1949 he was married to Darlene Burney at Bradshaw.
He is survived by his wife Darlene of Bradshaw, NE. Two sons; Steven and his wife Merna Bowman of Omaha, NE and Mark and his wife Robyn Bowman of Amherst, NE. Three daughters; Rhonda and her husband Roger Daugherty of Kearney, NE, Roxane and her husband Denny Johnson of York and Brenda Bowman and her friend John Eynetich of York.

Also surviving is one brother Claude Bowman of Ruppert, ID.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Arbor Drive Community Church in York. Burial was in the Plainfield cemetery west of Bradshaw, NE. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
