Amy Boutdy

Amy Boutdy, age 28, of York, NE, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at York. She was born March 27, 1982 at Beatrice, NE to Samboune and Seng (Bounnavong) Boutdy.

She is survived by her mother Seng and step-father Kevin Curly from Tennessee, sister, MaryAnn Wilson, grandmother, Khoune Boutdy, aunts, and uncles. She is also survived by her foster mom, Vicki Staehr of Stromsburg, NE, foster sister, Wendi Svehla and family, foster brothers, Curt Staehr and Blake Staehr and family, and special friend, Gertrude Bredehoft. Amy also leaves behind many friends in the York area. She was preceded in death by her father Sam, foster dad Doug Staehr, a foster sister, and foster grandparents.

Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 3, 2011, at the Metz Chapel in York, NE with the Reverend Allen Bergstrazer officiating. Inurnment was in the Vernon Cemetery south of York. Memorials may be directed to the Region V Foundation.
