Agnes White

Agnes Louise White, age 93, of York, NE, passed away on January 18, 2012 at the Hearthstone nursing home in York. Agnes was born in Minden, NE on June 30, 1918 to Andrew and Theresa (Vampola) Kern. She lived in Minden until moving to York in 1958.

She is survived by two daughters, Candis (Duane) Schade of Rogers, AR and Bonnie (Steve) Patton of York, NE; her sister Marie Thorson of Mesa, AZ and Rushford, MN; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two sisters-in-law, Elta (Robert) Kern of Minden, NE and Anne (Daniel) Kern of Denver, CO; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George White and Harold Liebers; daughter Theresa; siblings, Ellen Schotte, Andrew Kern, Jr., Jean Pederson, Robert Kern, and Daniel Kern.

A memorial service to celebrate her long life will be held this coming spring in York, NE. Gifts in Agnes’ memory may be sent to a charity of your choice.
