Betty Schaumann

Betty Schaumann, age 97, of York, NE, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at York. She was born September 29, 1914 in Binghampton, PA to John and Blanche Gray. She was married to George H. Schaumann on September 12, 1970 at St. Libory, NE. Betty enjoyed baking and playing a good game of cards.

Survivors include her son, Don and his wife Cindy of Fairmont, NE, four grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and nieces; nephews and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Donna, infant granddaughter, and grandson Donn.

Services were held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in York. Burial followed in the Council Cemetery, southwest of York. Memorials may be directed to the family.
