Ardith Regier

Ardith J. Regier, age 79, of Henderson, NE, passed away January 22, 2012 in Henderson. She was born September 9, 1932 at Aurora, NE to D.W. and Margaret (Siebert) Peters. Ardith and Richard Regier were married on August 10, 1951 in Henderson. Ardith was a homemaker and devoted her life to taking care of her family. She loved to cook and take care of her garden. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, LaVonne and husband Terry Smith of Hampton, NE and Sandra and husband Jess Huebert of Aurora, NE.

Grandchildren include Shelley Smith of Budapest, Hungry, Eric Smith, wife Robyn and their children Skylar and Annalee of Beaumont, CA, Sheila Riggs, husband Dee and their son Camden of Henderson, Marissa Young of Lincoln, NE, Travis Young of Goehner, NE, Jovanna Nemes, husband Nick, and children Abigail and Samuel of Seattle, WA, Daisy Ann Regier of Seattle, WA, Amber Schaaf, husband Kris and their children Harlow and Portia of Lincoln, James Regier of Omaha, NE, Laura Millhouse, husband Justin and their daughter Olivia of Lincoln, Alex Huebert of Henderson, and Audrey Huebert of Scottsdale, AZ.

Also surviving is a son-in-law Jerry Young of York, NE; daughter-in-law JoAnnette Regier of Hampton; twin sister Edith Kroeker of Henderson; and brother Kenneth Peters of Omaha. Ardith was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Diane Young; son Randy Regier; and brother Gerald Peters.

Graveside services were held at 3:15 pm, Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Friesen Cemetery near Henderson. Memorial services followed at 4:00 pm at Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson with the Reverend Jim Voth officiating. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
