Robert Dahl

Robert A. Dahl, age 91, of York, NE, formerly of Chicago, IL and Palm Springs, CA, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at York. He was born October 19, 1920 in Chicago, IL to Rudolph and Anna (Bulesta) Dahl. Robert graduated from Lane Tech High School in Chicago, IL. On March 7, 1942 Robert was united in marriage to Ruth L. Christensen in Chicago, IL and was a longtime small business owner.

He is survived by three sons: Dennis (Barbara) Dahl of Long Beach CA, James (Karen) Dahl of Redding, CA, and Scott (Kim) Dahl of Long Beach; two daughters: Cheryl (Al) Magnuson of York, NE and Deborah (Tom) Hartley of Indio, CA;Eleven Grandchildren and Sixteen Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant twin sister, brother Howard, and sister Dagney.

Memorial Services Were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Stromsburg Baptist Church with the Reverend Brian Allen officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Living Water Rescue Mission in York. Private family inurnment at a later date.
